The Computer Crime Unit for was formed by Sheriff Robert Pickell
and Undersheriff James Gage during the summer of 1999. It soon
became apparent to Sheriff Pickell that this needed to become a full-time
position.
The Computer Crime Unit investigates crimes involving
computers and/or the Internet. The Computer Crime Unit will assist any department, or if requested, assume the
entire investigation. Capt. Swanson is available
24/7 to assist any police department with computer related crimes.
