Assistant Prosecutor Kennan DeWitt Discharged from Employment with Genesee County
FLINT -- Genesee County Prosecuting Attorney David Leyton announced today that assistant prosecutor Kennan M. DeWitt has been discharged from his employment with Genesee County due to a series of improper contacts and communications with a criminal defendant who was under court sentence.
“Mr. DeWitt’s conduct was inconsistent with the appropriate practice of the Genesee County Prosecutor’s office,” said Prosecutor Leyton.
