Clio High School "Career Day 2008"
Every year, just before the school year ends, Clio High School holds "Career Day" for sophomores and juniors. Students listen to presentations about all types of jobs and careers that might suit their interests. Representing Prosecutor Leyton, Special Assistant Prosecuting Attorney John Potbury gave a PowerPoint presentation to four groups of students on the work of a prosecutor and discussed what it takes to become a lawyer. In addition to the high school career awareness program, Prosecutor Leyton and his staff also participate in the Clio School District's other career awareness programs at the elementary and middle school levels. It's never too early to start exploring the many possible job and career choices available in the workplace!
