What you
need to know when applying

You must meet the
Minimum Qualifications to be considered. There are no exceptions.

If the minimum
qualifications require college credits/degree, you must include college
transcripts to be considered.

College transcripts DO
NOT have to be official at time of application. Transcripts must show
institution and student name.

You must have all
necessary documentation submitted before the application and/or
transcript deadline to be
considered.

Veterans must include a
copy of their DD214 to receive veteran’s preference.
Applications will only be accepted for active job
postings. Most new job vacancies are listed on Fridays for a 1 to 2 week period
depending on vacancy type and information required. Be sure to check the
closing dates on the vacancy listings.
Our department does not accept
applications for the following agencies: Genesee County Road Commission,
Genesee
County Community Mental Health, Genesee County Water and Waste
Services, Genesee District Library.
