• 11.17.2009:  The 2009 Pictometry oblique aerial imagery for Genesee County has been delivered to all project partners.  If you need support please contact Ken Koleda at 257.3163.

• 7.12.2009:  We have acquired an additional set of scanned historical aerial images for the county through a one-for-one exchange with the MSU Aerial Image Archive.  We provided the archive a set of 1977 images and we received a 1941 set.  This has extended our span of imagery back 25 years older than our previous oldest set.

• 12.2.2009:  The GIS Department has obtained an Arc

• The GIS Executive Steering Committee has decided to change their schedule to quarterly meetings.  Meetings are normally held at 1:30pm in the Planning Commission Conference Room located on the second floor of the County Administration Building.  The 2010 GIS Executive Steering Committee meeting scheduled dates are:

• The next GIS Working Group meeting is scheduled for Monday December 28th, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Planning Commission Conference Room located on the second floor of the County Administration Building.  The Working Group normally meets on the fourth Monday of every month.
