IMAGIN is a professional development
organization committed to providing opportunities for its members
to network with professionals who are using, creating, or maintaining
spatial resources within Michigan. IMAGIN serves as a crossroads for
spatial information users/developers at all levels of government,
business, and non-profit organizations by providing its members partnership
opportunities to recognize, share, and create spatial data resources
for both traditional and new applications.

The Michigan
Center for Geographic Information (CGI) provides leadership, technical
expertise and policy for the acquisition, development, use, dissemination,
promotion and sharing of geographic information in the state of Michigan.

Geological Survey (USGS)
As the Nation's largest water, earth,
and biological science and civilian mapping agency, the U.S. Geological
Survey (USGS) collects, monitors, analyzes, and provides scientific
understanding about natural resource conditions, issues, and problems.
The diversity of our scientific expertise enables us to carry out
large-scale, multi-disciplinary investigations and provide impartial
scientific information to resource managers, planners, and other customers.
URISA
- Urban and Regional Information System Association
The Urban and Regional Information
Systems Association (URISA) is a non-profit professional and educational
association that promotes the effective and ethical use of spatial
information and information technologies for the understanding and
management of urban and regional systems. It is a multidisciplinary
association where professionals from all parts of the spatial data
community can come together and share concerns and ideas.
