On a monthly basis, GCMPC staff requests that each of the villages, cities and townships within the county provide building permit reports identifying new single-family residences, mobile home placements, multiple family residences, as well as new commercial business and industrial facilities. Demolitions within these categories are also included in the reports. Staff uses building permit information to evaluate and plan for growth within the county. Please note that location specific information is considered confidential and is not available to the public from the GCMPC.
