Genesee County Land Use Analysis
2006 Land Use Plan
GCMPC staff has completed the 2006 Genesee County Land Use Analysis. The study’s two primary objectives were to update the existing land use inventory and to compare the new data with the 1978 Michigan Resource Information System (MIRIS) land use/land cover data. Both of these objectives were successfully completed. The Genesee County Land Use Analysis, titled "A Changing Landscape" has revealed some powerful land use trends and growth patterns. GCMPC hopes this valuable tool will aid in the advancement of land use planning activities throughout Genesee County.
