Old Newsboys of Flint Annual Golf Outing Prosecutor Leyton put together a team of golfers for the recent Old Newsboys of Flint Annual Golf Outing at the Elks Club in Burton. Joining him were ABC 12’s Taryn Asher, Linden Middle School Teacher Tony Mora, and Special Assistant Prosecutor John Potbury. Although the team didn’t take home any trophies, a good time was had by all for a great cause. Assistant Prosecutor Jay Snodgrass is the incoming President of the Old Newsboys.
Old Newsboys of Flint is a non-profit organization that has been around for 83 years and provides gifts and winter clothing to needy children during the Christmas season. The theme for their annual campaign is “Let No Child Be Forgotten” and it assists more than 10,000 local kids each year.
